The project was built by many hands: there are 47 experienced co-authors and specialists in innovation, with activities in companies, ICTs, academia, and the Government.

Recently launched at the end of 2024, the work consists of 16 chapters, filled with different opinions and points of view

Coordinator

Luis Cláudio S. Frade's

Electronic engineer and master's degree in Electrical Engineering (UFPA) and specializing in Strategic Management of Technological Innovation in the Electricity Sector (Unicamp). He has extensive experience in R&D+I, having worked for 37 years at Eletrobrás Eletronorte. He serves as advisor to four R&D+I institutions: ANPEI, CTSMART, Enrich, and CISB. Since 2021, he has been an angel investor in 11 startups, mentoring and leading startup rounds. Presently,k he is also a co-leader of Anjos do Brasil in Rio de Janeiro. He created and organized the book "Innovation in Brazil - Challenges and Opportunities," 2024, with 47 co-authors, and co-authored the book "The Future of Innovation," edited by Bettina Stamm and Anna Trifilova.

Authors

Alessandra Cristina Holmo

Graduated in Materials Engineering (UFSCar), with specializations in Mar- keting (ESPM), Innovation (ESPM), and Market Intelligence (FIA). She has over thirty years of experience in technical areas, business development, R&D, and in- ternational cooperation. She is currently the Managing Director (MD) of the Swe- den-Brazil Research and Innovation Centre (CISB).

Ana Lúcia Vitale Torkomian

Graduated in Industrial Engineering (Federal University of São Carlos - UFS- Car), with a master’s and PhD in Administration in the field of Science and Tech- nology Management (University of São Paulo - USP), and a postdoctoral degree from the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV), Spain. She is a full professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at UFSCar and she is president of the National Forum of Innovation and Technology Transfer Managers (FORTEC). She has already served as Executive Director of the UFSCar Innovation Agency, acted as Deputy Secretary of the Secretariat for Economic Development and Innovation (SETEC) of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MCTI), repre- sented Brazil on the board of the Latin Ibero American Association of Technolog- ical Management and Innovation (ALTEC), and she is a member of the Science, Technology, and Innovation Committee of the Association of Universities of the Montevideo Group (AUGM).

Anapatrícia de Oliveira Morales Vilha

Graduated in Business Administration and Management, with a master’s de- gree in Administration and a PhD in Scientific and Technological Policy (UNI- CAMP). She is a professor in the graduate programs in Economics and Biotechno- science at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), a scientific advisor to the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP), and leader of the Advanced Studies Group in Science, Technology, and Innovation Management (GEACTI/UFABC) and the Laboratory of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (LaBEI/UFABC).

Bruno Domenico Bragazza

Graduated in Systems Analysis (PUC-Campinas) and holds a postgraduate de- gree in Strategic Management of Technological Innovation (UNICAMP). He has worked for thirty-eight years at Bosch, with twenty-three years of experience in R&D, developing hardware and software for the automotive sector, and fifteen years of experience in managing public innovation incentives, partnerships, new business opportunities, and intellectual property.

Carina Cristina Ferreira Leão Neves

Graduated in Law (FUMEC), with a specialization in Corporate Tax Manage- ment. Coautor of the publications Lei do Bem: como alavancar a inovação com a utilização dos incentivos fiscais and Fomento à inovação: da ideia aos recursos. She has over ten years of experience in managing financial resources and public pol- icies. At ABGI, she works on projects involving tax incentives for technological innovation, fundraising, structuring innovation ecosystems, and Mover. She is a member of ANPEI’s fiscal council.

Carlos Antonio Medeiros Gambôa

Graduated in Business Administration (EAESP FGV), with a master’s degree in Social Sciences (UFABC) and currently pursuing a PhD in Biotechnoscience (UFABC). He has worked at C&A, Booz Allen & Hamilton Consulting, S.A., the State of São Paulo, Ultragaz, and DM9 in the area of project design and implemen- tation. He has also served as a mentor in the PIPE program at Fapesp. He has pub- lished articles on tax incentives for innovation development and the third mission of universities.

Cassio Angelo Spina

Graduated in Electronic Engineering (USP), he has been an entrepreneur for twenty-five years and is currently a strategic advisor in corporate venture, inno- vation, mergers and acquisitions (M&A); he also acts as an angel investor in start- ups and a business advisor. He is the founder and president of Anjos do Brasil and lead partner at Alya Ventures. He is also a columnist/contributor for several publications and author of the books Corporate Venture Capital, Tips and Secrets for Entrepreneurs and Angel Investor: How to Obtain Investment for Your Business. Member of the committees: Venture Capital at ABVCAP; Digital Economy and 424Innovation Council (CEDI) at Fecomercio/SP; and Business Mobilization for In- novation (MEI) at the National Confederation of Industry (CNI).

Christimara Teixeira Garcia Mamão

Graduated from UFMG, with an MBA from FGV and a fellowship at the Clay- ton Christensen Institute for Disruptive Innovation (USA). She is currently a Pro- gram Director at the MIT Industrial Liaison Program. Her previous experiences include serving as a Lecturer at the MIT Sloan School of Management and as Di- rector of the Framingham State University Entrepreneur Innovation Center. She was the founder and CEO of ABGI Brasil. She has over two decades of experience driving business growth and improving innovation capabilities in organizations.

Claudia Lopes Pocho

Human Resources Manager with a distinguished academic background. She graduated in Pedagogy and holds a Master’s degree in Education from UFRJ, a PhD in Production Engineering from COPPE/UFRJ, and a postdoctoral degree from NOVA University of Lisbon, with research focused on Environmental As- sessment and Sustainability. She is the author of several national and international publications. Throughout her academic career, she has acted as a professor in un- dergraduate and postgraduate programs in Institutional Pedagogy, as well as in MBA programs in Strategic People Management. Claudia has also coordinated the development of an MBA in Corporate Education and Knowledge Management.

Cristina Theodore Assimakopoulos

Lawyer, specialist in Intellectual Property Law (FGV) and in Strategic Manage- ment of Technological Innovation (Unicamp), with extensive experience in open innovation, funding, and strategic R&D+I alliances, having worked in universities, funding agencies, and companies. She is currently a Technical Manager for Part- nerships and R&D+I Funding at Vale S.A.

Danielle Magalhães Moraes

PhD in High Energy Nuclear Physics, with an MBA in Strategic Innovation Management. Executive and scientist with extensive international experience in innovation, international cooperation, and technological partnerships. Former sci- entist at the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN), in Switzerland, 425for eleven years, and an affiliate member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences. Held leadership positions in Switzerland and Brazil, focusing on R&D+I projects, fundraising for innovation, and public-private partnerships for technology trans- fer. Specialist in scientific entrepreneurship and technology transfer, she works as a venture builder and advisor. She is a partner at NXT7 and an Innovation Fellow for the NEOM project in Saudi Arabia.

Denis Balaguer

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering (University of Taubaté), holds a master’s degree in Mechanical and Aeronautical Engineering (ITA), and a PhD in Philoso- phy, Science, and Technological Policy (Unicamp). He is a Director at EY, leading the BeyondLabs Innovation Program Leadership. He is also a guest professor at Unicamp. Worked at Embraer, Strategos, and ATECH – Business in Technologies S/A. He has also been a guest professor at ITA. 

Eduardo Campello Peixoto

Graduated (UFPE) and holds a master’s degree in Electronic Engineering (Eind- hoven University of Technology). He is CEO of the Center for Advanced Studies and Systems of Recife (CESAR) and has more than thirty years of experience in in- novation projects, having held technical and managerial positions for various orga- nizations such as Philips-Netherlands, Ascom-Switzerland, and CESAR-Brazil. He is the founder of the PMI chapter in Recife, coordinator of PoETAS.IT, coordinator and professor of the Business Management in the Digital Era course at CESAR School, and an innovation consultant for several organizations and companies such as Anprotec, Elcoma, Fiat, Iron House, Saraiva, SSB, and Unilever.

Eneida Elias Berbare

Graduated in Chemical Engineering (FEI) and specialist in Intellectual Proper- ty Law (EDESP – FGV). With more than thirty-five years in the field of intellectual property, she has worked as a chemical engineer at the Institute for Technological Research of São Paulo (IPT); trademark and patent manager at Natura; specialist engineer in IP at Vale S.A.; and intellectual property manager at Braskem. She was also coordinator of the Intellectual Property Committee at Anpei and vice-presi- dent of the Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property.

Fábio Makita Kiyan

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering (USP), with a master’s degree in Pro- duction Engineering (USP) and a postgraduate degree in Business Management (FDC). He has twenty-four years of career experience in research, development, and innovation (R&D+I), new business, strategic planning, venture capital, and competitive intelligence. He created the first corporate venture capital (CVC) in Brazil (R$ 160 million) and the first private science and technology (ICT) institu- tion in Rio Grande do Sul, originating from an industry. Angel investor and men- tor for high-tech startups.

Filipe Miguel Cassapo

Graduated in Computer Science (Université de Technologie de Compiègne – UTC, France), with a master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence (PUC-PR) and spe- cialist in Innovation, Leadership, and Organizational Transformation. He is direc- tor of LelloLab, the Life in Common Innovation Laboratory; vice-president of the Europe–Latin America Innovation Center, Enrich in Latin America and Caribbe- an. He is a speaker in Brazil and abroad, participating in projects from the Luxem- bourg Development Agency (LuxDev), the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), and the European Union.

Gesil Sampaio Amarante Segundo

Graduated in Physics. Full professor at the State University of Santa Cruz (BA). Coordinator of NIT-UESC, president of the Science and Technology Park of South- ern Bahia, and president of the National Forum of Innovation and Technology Transfer Managers (FORTEC).

Gianna Cardoso Sagazio

Graduated in Economics (PUC-MG), with a master’s degree in Economic De- velopment and executive programs from MIT Sloan School of Management and The Wharton School. She is CEO of SOSA Brazil, a global open innovation compa- ny. Former Director of Innovation at CNI and former national superintendent of the Euvaldo Lodi Institute (IEL). She participates in and has been a member of var- ious boards: National Council for Science and Technology (CCT); Board of Direc- tors of the National Fund for Scientific and Technological Development (FNDCT); GAAVA, Green and Yellow Committee; MCTI Network – Embrapii Innovation in Artificial Intelligence; advisory board of Finep; board of GFCC; ENRICH Brazil; 427Anprotec; and CNPq; advisory board of Emerging Markets at Cornell; FNQ; and the Innovation Board at USP.

Guilherme de Oliveira Santos

Bachelor’s and licentiate degree in Social Sciences, with a master’s and PhD in Public, Strategic, and Development Policies (UFRJ). Currently, he is an as- sociate researcher at the Innovation Economics Group at UFRJ and advisor for FAPERJ’s technology directorate, leading the Centelha RJ programs and Doctor Entrepreneur.

Heloísa Regina Guimarães de Menezes

Graduated in Economics, with a master’s degree in Sciences in Agricultural Development, and a PhD in Business and Social Sciences. She is a consultant, guest professor at Fundação Dom Cabral, and a national and international lecturer. She has completed executive courses at Insead, Singularity University, and Fundação Dom Cabral. She is a specialist in innovation, innovation policies, and the digital economy.

Jefferson de Oliveira Gomes

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering (UFSC), with postgraduate and doctoral degrees (UFSC, in cooperation with RWTH-Aachen – Germany). He is Director of Technology and Innovation at the National Confederation of Industry (CNI). Pro- fessor at the Technological Institute of Aeronautics (ITA), Director of the Fraun- hofer Project Center FPC@ITA. He was Director, Superintendent, and Executive Manager of Innovation and Technology at Senai-DN; Regional Director and Direc- tor of Innovation at Senai – Regional Department of Santa Catarina (DR-SC); and CEO of the Institute for Technological Research (IPT).

Jorge Almeida Guimarães

Graduated in Veterinary Medicine (UFRRJ), PhD in Molecular Biology with an emphasis in Biochemistry (EPM-UNIFESP), and postdoctoral fellow (NIH- USA). Emeritus professor at UFRJ, UFF, UFRRJ, and UFRGS. Honorary Doctor from the University of Nottingham (UK), Universidad de Ingenieria del Peru, USP, PUCRS, Mackenzie University, and other Brazilian universities. Twice president of SBBq; Director of CNPq; binational director of the Brazil-Argentina Biotechnology 428Center; president of CTNBio; president of CAPES; and president of Embrapii. Re- searcher Emeritus at CNPq and full member of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences.

Juan Carlos Sotuyo

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (UFSC), master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (UFSC), and PhD in Administration, in the field of technology man- agement (UNAM). Co-author, proposer, and responsible for the implementation of the Itaipu Technology Park (2003–2017). Professor at the State University of West- ern Paraná (since 1994).

Juliana Corrêa Crepalde Medeiros

Graduated in Law (PUC-MG), with a master’s degree in International Public Law and a PhD in Technological Innovation (UFMG). She is the executive coordi- nator of the Technology Transfer and Innovation Coordination (CTIT) at UFMG. Lecturer in the postgraduate program in Technological Innovation Management (PPGIT) at UFMG. Technical Director of the National Forum of Innovation and Technology Transfer Managers (Fortec). Member of the Intellectual Property Committee of the OAB/MG.

Leonardo Augusto Garnica

Graduated in Public Administration (Unesp) and holds a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Technological Innovation (UFSCar). He has worked at the USP Innovation Agency, Natura, Anpei, and is currently Head of Corporate Innovation at Embraer S.A. He is also an MBA professor at the Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA).

Luiz Eugênio Araujo de Moraes Mello

Graduated in Medicine (EPM); PhD in Molecular Biology (EPM-Unifesp); post- doctoral fellow (Brain Research Institute, UCLA). Associate Professor (EPM-Uni- fesp). Full Professor in the Department of Physiology, EPM-Unifesp. Marcelo Silva Bortolini de Castro

Marcelo Nicolas Camargo

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering (UFRJ), master’s degree in Adminis- tration (IBMEC/RJ), D.E.A. – Information Scientifique et Technique Veille Tech- nologique – University of Toulon, France, and MBA – Competitive Intelligence (UFRJ/INT). Maria Beatriz Machado Bonacelli

Graduated in Economic Sciences (Unicamp), with a specialization in the Econ- omy of the Agri-Food System (Italy), Master’s degree in Science and Technology Policy (Unicamp), and PhD in Economic Sciences (Université des Sciences Socia- les de Toulouse, France). She is a tenured professor at the Department of Science and Technology Policy (DPCT/IG/Unicamp). She served as advisor to the Dean’s Office for Graduate Studies at Unicamp; coordinator of the graduate program at the Institute of Geosciences; coordinator of the PPG-PCT and head of department (DPCT). Associate researcher at the Research and Innovation Organization Stud- ies Group (GEOPI/DPCT), the INCT-PPED (UERJ/UFRJ/Unicamp), and the Study 430Group on University and Society Relations (GRUS/Unicamp). She participates in the Network – Legal Center of the Observatory of Innovation and Competitiveness (IEA and Law School/USP). President of the Evaluation Committee for the Man- agement Contract between CNPEM and MCTIC since 2018. Participated in the preparation of the Master Plan for Science, Technology, and Innovation of the State of São Paulo 2014–2015. Winner, in 2016, of the 58th Jabuti Award, 2nd place in the Economy and Business Category as co-editor of the book Intellectual Property and Innovations in Agriculture.

Maria Carolina Nogueira Rocha

Graduated in Law, with a specialization in Tax Law (Faculdade de Direito Mil- ton Campos). Co-author of the publications Lei do Bem: como alavancar a inovação com a utilização dos incentivos fiscais and Fomento à inovação: da ideia aos re- cursos. She is CEO of ABGI Brasil; served on the board of directors of Anpei and on the technology and innovation council of FIEMG. She has deep knowledge in management, business development, entrepreneurship, ESG innovation, and pub- lic policies.

Mariana Humberto Yazbeck

Bachelor’s degree in International Relations (PUC/MG), Executive MBA (FDC). She is innovation manager at the FIEMG System, where she has held other posi- tions and was a research and innovation fellow at DCC/UFMG. She has worked as a consultant in digital transformation, innovation, and business development, innovation manager at Belo Horizonte Airport, and innovation advisor at Fundep

Marli Elizabeth Ritter dos Santos

Graduated in Sociology, PhD in Administrative Sciences from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She is a consultant for the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), having worked in several Latin American coun- tries and in Europe, Africa, and Asia. She is an affiliate member of the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) in the United States, serving on its international committee. She is president and member of the advisory board of Fortec. She coordinated the technology transfer and interaction offices at UFRGS and PUC/RS and was director of the Zenit Science and Technology Park at UFRGS.

Patrícia Franco Leal Gestic

Graduated in Engineering, master’s and doctorate from Unicamp, and holds executive training from FDC. She is CEO and lead consultant at II Intelligence for Innovation Consulting, a company based in Campinas (SP). She was the lead consultant responsible for developing the National Intellectual Property Strategy for the Federal Government, contracted by WIPO (Geneva). She holds various cer- tifications and international experiences in the United Kingdom (TTO – Oxford University), USPTO (Washington), JPO (Tokyo), EPO (Vienna), among others. She was founder and director of Unicamp’s NIT, the Inova Unicamp Innovation Agency.

Paulo Cesar Rezende de Carvalho Alvin

Graduated in Engineering, with a master’s degree in Information Science and a doctorate in Bioenergy. He has experience in innovation and small business man- agement. He served as Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation. He is cur- rently the director of Cilla Tech Park.

Paulo José Pereira Curado

Graduated in Engineering (Unicamp), with a specialization in Industrial Qual- ity (Unicamp) and an MBA in Business Management (FGV). He joined CPQD as a telecommunications researcher in 1986, working in the area of fiber optics and cables, and is currently the director of technology and innovation, responsible for research, development, and innovation in technological platforms for connectivity, blockchain, artificial intelligence, and renewable energies. He has served as a board member of the Brazilian Association for Conformity Assessment (Abrac). He was a board member at PadTec and is currently a member of the Municipal Committee for Science and Technology of Campinas. At the CPQD Foundation, he has held various management and leadership positions and is currently also responsible for open innovation initiatives and the institution’s venture builder.

Pedro Porto Silva Cavalcanti

Graduated in Engineering, with a master’s and doctorate degree (UFRJ/ COPPE). He has experience in the field of mineral processing, optimizing and de- veloping new technologies and equipment, as well as incubating and accelerating new businesses. He is currently responsible for the R&D area of mineral processing at Vale S.A.

Rafael Correa Fabra Navarro

Graduated in Chemical Engineering (IMT), with a specialization in Marketing (ESPM). He has more than twenty-six years of experience in the petrochemical in- dustry, in which he has held leadership positions in marketing, strategic planning, competitive intelligence, innovation management, and global knowledge manage- ment at Braskem. He has actively participated in industrial and academic bodies, including the advisory board of the Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) and the ad- vanced manufacturing project center of Fraunhofer, Embrapii, Abendi, USP In- novation Agency, CNPq, Sebrae, and CGEE. He has also held leadership positions on the board of Anpei and contributed to national and international initiatives for technology development. He is a partner at N7 Ventures and the Industrial Liaison Officer for Brazil at CERN.

Raimar van den Bylaardt

Graduated in Industrial Chemistry and Strategic Marketing Management. He was one of the founders of the National Association for R&D of Innovative Com- panies (Anpei) and has since worked in the field of technology and innovation management. He created and participated in several programs to promote innova- tion, having been responsible for the creation of the Petroleum Sector Fund (CT- PETRO), the regulation of the Investment Clause in R&D of the National Agency of Petroleum (ANP), and the creation of the ANP’s Human Resources Program for the Oil and Gas Sector (PRH-ANP). At the Brazilian Institute of Petroleum and Gas (IBP), he created the Technology and Knowledge Management Department and served for nine years as president of the Pipeline Technology Center (CTDUT). He is currently a consultant for R&D+I funding and serves on the boards of direc- tors of the Brazilian Institute of Petroleum and Gas (IBP), the Center for Manage- ment and Strategic Studies (CGEE), and the National Institute of Oceanographic Research (INPO).

Renato Dias Regazzi

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering and postgraduate in Production Engi- neering (UFRJ), with a Master’s degree in Technology (CEFET/RJ) and an MBA (FDC). He was a member of the Competitiveness Council of Firjan. Served as an administrative advisor to the Development Bank of Alagoas (Desenvolve-AL). Currently, he is chief of staff and advisor to the presidency of Sebrae/RJ. He is a professor and researcher at Insper for executive education; speaker, writer, and au- thor of various publications, books, articles, monographs, and methodologies.

Ricardo André Marques

Graduated in Civil Engineering (Universidade Católica de Goiás) with a Mas- ter’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Unicamp) and specializations in Inno- vation (Unicamp) and Administration (Universidade Cândido Mendes). He is currently CFO and CMO of Fundação Real Grandeza and advisor to Produtores Energéticos de Manso (Proman). He has executive experience in the areas of tech- nology, innovation, entrepreneurship, and people management at Furnas Centrais Elétricas, in addition to having held governance positions in multilateral insti- tutions and companies in the areas of energy, research, and innovation (Anpei), non-destructive testing (Abendi), at Sebrae Nacional, Santo Antônio Energia, and Amazônia.

Ricardo Cardoso Costa Boclin

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering (PUC/RJ) and Law (Estácio), member of the board of directors of the Brazilian Intellectual Property Association (ABPI) and member of the Board of Directors of Anpei. He is Technical and Legal Director at ClarkeModet Brasil. He has worked for over twenty years in law firms specializ- ing in industrial property, especially in patent and industrial design processing at the INPI and in developing strategies for the protection and defense of intellectual property assets.

Ricardo Yogui

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering (FEI), postgraduate in Marketing (ESPM), and MBA (IBMEC and FGV). He is a consultant and guest professor at business schools and at Anpei Academy. He is chairman of Universidade Garagem and co-founder of Angel Investor Club. He is the author of the innovation frame- work, a model for strategic innovation management in organizations. He serves as an advisor to institutions such as iUP of IBP, Mining Hub, Vertical Energia of ACATE, Grupo FCJ, and Instituto da Inovação Brasil.

Ruy de Quadros Carvalho

He is a full professor at Unicamp, in the DPCT/Institute of Geosciences, leader of the Technology and Innovation Management Laboratory, creator of the specialization course in Strategic Management of Technological Innovation, and a member of the technical-scientific council of the Eldorado Institute. He has su- pervised 40 graduate students, including master’s and doctoral candidates. Author of one hundred articles, books, and book chapters published in Brazil and abroad.

Sebastião Lauro Nau

Graduated in Electrical Engineering, with a master’s and doctorate (UFSC). He is manager of the department for technological innovation management, responsible for innovation management, open innovation, and intellectual property at WEG. He is a member of several national entities focused on research, development, and inno- vation. Professor in the Electrical Engineering program at Católica/SC.

Shirley Virginia Coutinho

Holds a bachelor’s and licentiate degree in Pedagogy (UFES) and a master’s in Business Administration (PUC-Rio). She is an advisor and mentor for innovation programs and strategic agreements. She was executive coordinator of the PUC-Rio Innovation Agency (AGI/PUC-Rio), founder and coordinator of the Intellectual Property Office at PUC-Rio (ENPI-PUC-Rio), co-founder, regional coordinator for the Southeast region, vice-president, and president of the National Forum of Inno- vation and Technology Transfer Managers (Fortec), in addition to having worked at Vale do Rio Doce.

Tatiana Farah de Mello Cauville

Bachelor in International Relations, master’s degree in International Political Economy, specialist in Business and Competitive Intelligence. She is an internation- al consultant for the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and other national organizations. She has experience in technical and technological cooperation.

Thiago Pereira Soares

Graduated in Electrical Engineering, with a master’s degree (UFU) and currently a doctoral candidate (IME), specialist in Strategic Management of Technological In- novation (Unicamp) and in Protection and Control of Electrical Systems (IME). He is Executive Engineering Manager for the Amazon implementation at Eletrobras, re- sponsible for coordinating and managing the implementation of the Pró-Amazônia Legal program. He is CEO of the startup Subestações Digitais (SEDIG).

Francisco Roberto Reis França

Graduated in Electronic Engineering (ITA), with master’s degrees in Electri- cal Engineering in Automation and Control (UFPA) and in Production Engineer- ing (UFSC), and an international instructor in the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) Methodology by JIPM (Japan). He is an entrepreneur and a member of the research group on sustainable architecture and energy efficiency (CNPQ). He served as Superintendent of the Transmission Regional of Pará. He implemented the Technology Center of Miramar (Belém, PA) and its set of research laboratories, trials, and applied tests for the electrical sector, with relevant projects for P&D Aneel.
